Events

The events listed here are open to all members.

The Open Meetings as listed are free and you can just turn up. We normally run these as "hybrid", meaning that you can either attend in the hall or join the meeting via Zoom. Details of how to connect to Zoom are emailed to members a few days before the event.

The Weekly Diary entries are mainly as a reminder of regular Group activities. See the Groups page and select the group of interest for more information.

For the Coffee Mornings you just turn up.

For some events you need to book, and a payment may be needed.

Digital Photography Meeting January 2026

For this meeting members were invited to submit photos with the theme "Letter A" - to be interpreted as they wish. This was not a competition just an opportunity to enjoy one another's photos. Here are just a few of the entries.

Christmas Outing to The Cotswolds November 2025

We arrived at Stow-On-The-Wold just before 12:30. Most members headed to one of the many pubs or tearooms for some much needed
refreshments. This was followed by some retail therapy, with several large shopping bags making their way back onto the coach.

We left Stow to make the short journey to Sudeley Castle for the ‘Spectacle of Light’, with the theme of King Arthur. See photos below. We met Merlin the Magician (his makeup was amazing), who worked his magic lighting our way with the hanging lights. Several members tested their strength by trying to remove Excalibur from the stone; needless to say, Excalibur is still there.
