Introduction
Membership of Bracknell Forest U3A is currently £11 per person per membership year but a reduced fee of £5.50 is charged if you join on or after 1st April. This price assumes you will receive our newsletters and programmes by email; sorry, there is an extra charge if you choose to have paper copies sent to you by post.
If you are already a member of another U3A (and continue to be a member of that U3A) you can benefit from a slightly lower fee and avoid getting duplicate mailings from national U3A. In the membership system we refer to this as "Associate Membership" but in all other respects there is no distinction between "associate" and "normal" membership.
The membership year runs from 1st October until 30th September the following year.
Please, if you are a UK taxpayer, tick the box on your membership application or renewal allowing us to claim Gift Aid at no cost to you. For joint membership you must enter a tax payer as the primary member.
When you join Bracknell Forest U3A you automatically become a member of the national Third Age Trust. Normally you will receive mailings from the Third Age Trust, including the magazine Third Age Matters (TAM), but you can opt out of such mailings if you wish.
This is just a formality, but as a member you must follow our Terms and Conditions. You can find these as part of the pdf membership form, and when you join we will will assume that you have read and accepted them.
Most people join and renew online, but you can use a paper form if you wish.

The preferred method of joining is to click the button below which takes you to the national U3A membership system named Beacon. This has all necessary security features in place to handle your personal information. Payment is by the well-known PayPal system, but you do not need a PayPal account to make the payment.
