We enjoy not only the visual arts, such as painting, prints, drawings, pottery and sculpture, but also architecture and the crafts.

The only qualification needed for membership of our Group is a willingness to explore unfamiliar areas of the vast World of Art. (Of course, if you were able to prevent the rest of us getting lost somewhere in it, that would be a bonus . . .and very welcome).

Apart from the usual notices and planning of trips etc members provide illustrated talks on a wide range of art. Sometimes this takes the form of an introduction to the artist  or subject of the visit planned for in the future. Members delivering the talks often use electronic media via a laptop and digital projector but slide projection is also available and of course there might be a real object to hold and look at!
