The Digital Photography Group is for anyone with an interest in photography.

Our members have a great range of skills (beginner to competition level), and a variety of photographic equipment (ranging from DSLR to smart phone and compact camera). All are welcome and we are keen to answer questions and to make constructive comments on members photos. As well as recent photos we enjoy looking at legacy photos which members have converted to digital.

The Group meets twice a month from 10:00am until midday. The first meeting of the month takes the form of Q&A, viewing any photographs that members may have taken recently, and watching a video on digital photography in The Great Courses series. At the second meeting, members’ photos on a previously agreed theme are reviewed informally.

Members Photos - "Circles"

At a meeting in 2025 the theme was Circles, and a selection of the contributions are shown below. This was not a competition, just an opportunity to share various interpretations of the theme. Some photos were very recent, whilst others were archive photos.
